Marvin Dennis, President, founded Dennis & Company in 1996.   Mr. Dennis has significant experience in both equipment financing and M & A areas, principally through his 23 years experience as a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Trans Ocean Ltd., a maritime container lessor.  Trans Ocean Ltd. financed and operated a container fleet having a cost of over $1 billion and was the largest privately owned company in the industry when Transamerica Leasing purchased Trans Ocean in 1996.  Prior to 1974, Mr. Dennis has  held several financial positions with Itel Corporation, a transportation equipment lessor, and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and an auditor with Arthur Young & Co.  Mr. Dennis is a CPA, and holds a J.D. from DePaul University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Teling Peterson, Managing Director, joined Dennis & Company in March, 2000.  Ms. Peterson brings strong finance and analytical skills,  valuable experience in international management consulting and mergers & acquisitions from her previous eleven years experience in  business finance consulting at Arthur Anderson, LLP to Dennis & Company.  Teling focuses in venture financing and financial advisory consulting to our portfolio companies.  She has worked with clients across a wide spectrum of industries including mining, leasing, banking, and petroleum.  Ms. Peterson is a certified public accountant, a member of Golden Key National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Phi National Honor Society.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Francisco State University with both finance and accounting degrees.  Ms. Peterson also received various certificates from Harvard Business School Executive Programs in finance strategies and financial market.  Teling is an alumni of Columbia University Graduate School of Business.  She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountant, an Executive Advisory Board member of University of San Francisco Center for the Pacific Rim, and a Committee member and Treasurer of San Francisco Ho Chi Minh Sister City Committee.  Ms. Peterson is also on various Board and Executive Committee of our portfolio companies.

Mandy Quach, Controller, joined Dennis & Company in November of 2001. Mrs. Quach held several senior positions including assistant controller at Trans Ocean Ltd. Mrs. Quach received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance Administration at San Francisco State University.
